UK I.P Change help!
 

Hi there, i can imagine all you computer and eBay Wizzes are getting sick of my newbie questions!:bounce:

Anyway... I have read through stealth carefully and all makes sense except the I.P change bit as it's a bit too technical for myself.

I should probably give some background on what exactly im running.

I am from the UK, Using Broadband, I'm using BTHomeHub as my router which connects via wireless to my Laptop. I tried to get into the settings using the 'Admin Password' on the back of my HomeHub but it said it was invalid.

Im really struggling on how to easily change my I.P so i cannot be tracked on eBay or Paypal as i already have waiting and ready:

A username in mind, password, email, address, phone, Prepaid card etc.

Just so frustrating as once ive done this i can create a few more!

Please help.

there's a reset wireless switch on the back of the Hub... press it in, and hold in, until you hear a click, usually takes around 15 seconds. your ok to let go then.. it'll take around 5 mins whilst it reboots and checks all kinds of stuff

However B4 you try this, check your IP, try it, then check the IP afterwards.
What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...

Good site to keep track of your IPs. btw, have you added a column on your spreadsheet for IPs?:spy:

I have indeed added a column for that. Im not the best with computer technical stuff but i will list them. Another NOVICE question for you! But once ive done as you say if i log on to my other computer user am i good to go in regards to setting up the paypal and ebay?
