Can i hide my ip address
 

Can i download a softwear that can hide my ip address to log into paypal each day.

Yes, you need a VPN - Virtual Private Network.

Don't do that if you don't want Ebay/PayPal get suspicious about your account.... Just change your IP every time you log in....there are a few ways to do that...get a cheap dial up connection or a mobile broadband card...

ebay can't tell if your using a VPN, they won't get suspicious. I login from a VPN all the time.

They would only get suspicious if:

Someone else was using the same VPN
You logged in from another countries IP address.
-All I can think of.

Very slow and you can't choose where your IP comes from - a key element.

Ebay can tell if you're on a VPN. VPN's are a last resort.. In other words, they rarely work..

Since you are in the US, you just need to change your ip. Like ptenchick said, no need to try to hide it., that will just cause problems.

No you do not need a VPN. That is not good advice. Paypal detects them and dislikes them very much.

TOR is also recognized by paypal. Its usage is bad as well.

Both you and the OP had better start reading the forum a LOT more before making stealth accounts

Thanks, I guess I better STFU. I see what happens to VPN's. Auctiva is the solution though form what I've seen.

@NotMarKK, now you are talking :thumb: 'Stealth' is layers of protection. That's what we aim to have. Auctiva is in that group.

Dont be put off by thinking out loud. One thing I know could happen is a 'gem' of info might come from a user that benefits everyone.:pop2: Info that might damage can be questioned as well.

what i use is the software called iprental.com

what is it? its a software which costs 50 bucks per month and you rent an ip and switch it every 2 minutes

u can pay 104 $ a month and u can switch it every second

Why do you want to switch IPs every few minutes? It's better in the eyes of paypal/ebay to have the same IP. Certainly such software is not recommended to be stealth :spy:

i use it because i linked my hot account with the new ip address

so i got this instead -
i also use it for adwords

and other ppc sites i can arrange with an affiliate to get some $$

I use hide my ip 5.3 software to hide my ip address. I think its the best ip hiding software i,ve ever used. It does not affect my internet speed that's the main reason i like it very much.

What they don\\\'t tell you up front is that you must pay an annual subscription fee for even the \\\"standard\\\" performance or else it becomes virtually useless. Totally deceitful and misleading program/site. If you don\\\'t pay up to buy the software over again, only the poorest IPs are selected and if you try to block that IP from future use, Hide My IP 5.2 will NOT add those to the blocked list. No matter how many times you click on the block or switch IP buttons, it will keep coming back to the same useless IP address forever. The software works fairly decently during the first year, but after that it\\\'s pay up or go to hell.

I use Platinum Hide IP but not for PayPal or Ebay. Not worth the risk.

Go with dialup, dongle, VPS, etc... and do it right.
