change IP address
 

Hi
I have a blackberry curve and I use it as a modem, but the ip address is allways the same when connect - disconnect and connect again.
I have see here that when used as a moden the ip is different every time it connect.
Any advise why?

I use an iPhone for tethering, and the way I change my ip, is by turning airplane mode on and then off.

If you don't have that option, you can try turning your phone off and back on, that should give you a new ip.

i hear iphones are good for tethering
perhaps you should switch phone -

or try to find out something which cuts off the signal
to maybe try to get a new ip

thats what i do too
