Using Apple I-pad. Is IP address static or dynamic
 

Does anyone here have an ipad? If so is the IP address static or dynamic
I tried researching it online but all i'm finding is people with problems connecting to the internet

If you have the 3G iPad, it's dynamic.

If you're using wifi, then it depends on the network you connect to.

Ok..so I don't have an iPad but how do you connect to the internet? Does it have it's own connection that you pay for monthly or do you connect wirelessly to you home connection?

Either way you should be able to tell pretty easly. Open a browser and go to IPburger and check you IP. Then close your connection, reboot the ipad, or whatever and then check IPburger again.

NTP, there's two version of the Ipad, one with 3G+Wifi and one with just Wifi.


ba61590, I don't have an iPad, but I would think it works just like an iPhone if you're using 3G. Try turning it off an back on, more then likely you will have a new ip.

Anyone tried using the iPad to manage stealth accounts [both ebay and amazon]?

Or I guess the question would be can you manage multiple stealth accounts using the ipad since I'm assuming you can't create user accounts.
