I have tried several times to follow the stealth directions to changing my IP address and I do everything right but when I go to IPburger to check if my IP address has changed, it never does. I work at a school with several computers linked to the same modem and router and when I go to other computers it shows the new numbers that I type (for example: A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6) but yet the IP address from IPburger doesn't change... Is there a reason for this or am I doing something wrong. Please assist in any way possible. Thank you in advance.

I am also confused about the difference, if any, between a WAN Mac address and simply a MAC address as when I go to my router setup and click on the internet/Lan tab, only option there says MAC address and not WAN MAC address...

Its possible your ISP is static.

Or you are messing with the wrong mac. LAN is the computer. You need WAN

I'll add its just not safe using a community computer. You have no idea what they are being used for and you could lose accounts because of some crap kids are doing
