Static IP @ Hotels
 

How can I mask my IP address if I do not control my internet access? I stay in hotels a lot and obviously never have access to their modem/router. Any reliable, but inexpensive suggestions are appreciated!

I remember there was a thread like this a while back.
My reply is the same. I think that if you use a hotel internet, it should be ok to create accounts. I won't guarantee when it comes to logging into multiple accounts though.

If you want to take the risk, do it once or twice only. No more. eB and PP should know that that's an IP from a hotel.

I myself have never gotten in trouble for it, but then again, I'm very careful and I only use 1 acc at a time.

Huh? Why not just tell ebay/paypal you are moving around & are accessing from different addresses.... UNLESS you are up to no good.

This 'mask' malarky is silly if everything is on the level. FFS, ebay/paypal know people move around, travel: part of life so why hide:pound:

I have been suspended because of hotels. I was doing everything from hotels at one time and it worked for a while and got paid for a while but dont count on it. Once one of accounts get limited or suspended the others that have any link to it will soon follow with limitation or suspension. If I were you I would find another way for now. I didnt mask.
I travel a lot too but remember you are dealing with a evil ebay & paypal company who is not reasonable and will not give a darn about you. They will limit you and suspend you trust me! Soon paypal will not be able to do this because we all travel a lot. There are many places you can connect while you are out of town just find you nearest sports bar or something. Ebay/paypal knows all about hotels. They make a lot of phone calls these days.
