You can look up the IP address on most emails that you get and you can find the location too.

Sorry but, IP server that has thousands of emails attached to it? Or whatever?

Depends on how you are sending email. if you use a desktop client it can show your actual IP. Some webmail clients just show their server [host]

It does vary from client to client and from webmail to webmail. So if you dont want your IP included in mail the best way is your own host email xxx@xxx.com and using webmail.
