Does anyone know if O2 Broadband uses a Dial-Up connection

I just bought O2 broadband which i must pay 10€ a month for and i am wondering do you know if its dial-up because i seem to get a new ip everytime i connect? If it is dial-up that would be great right?since i would never have to worry about changing my ip manually ever again?

Also i live in Ireland so the O2 situation might be different in the UK but does anyone else get a new IP everytime they connect to the O2 Modem?
