Changing Verizon IP?

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to be using a new clean ebay account from a new address in the coming days. The thing is..My girlfriend, who I live, with logged into her old ebay account briefly a few months ago from her work ip (the one i'll be using).

Like I said, we live together. So she was using her ebay account (linked to my suspended one by home ip) on our home ip address from time to time. I assume ebay wouldn't like my new clean account being used on the same ip as her old one which in turn is probably linked to my suspended one/ip.

The office setup I'll be using is Verizon. Is it possible to change the IPs on Verizon? From what I've been reading here it seems like it's pretty hard. Should I just sign up for my own separate internet service and start from scratch?

start from scratch-

if ur linked to a suspended IP

i already have started from scratch. everything is fine with the new accounts. none are linked.

the only hurdle now is the ip address. the internet is through verizon. i'm not sure if it's a dsl or fios. how would i change the ip for each?

i read some things that fios gives out a dynamic ip every 4 hours or so. is this correct? so that would mean the ip has changed in the months since she logged in once a while ago. would i take the chance of getting on the same ip eventually throughout the cycle?

how do i change the ip if it's dsl?

if you have the router disconect everything from everywhere
leave it off for 5-10 minutes (thats just me) and then re connect the tower

you should have a diff ip for your dsl if you have the router.
At least to my understanding.

im not very knowledgeable in the dsl modem router type of thing .

I tried callin the company and asking if it does change - they say yes but i reconfirm checking with IPBurger.com or ipchicken.com to see if it changed

From what I'm seeing online a dsl through verizon is automatically assigned an ip and that might not change unless you cancel the service. i've read that fios ip's are dynamic and change regularly so that wouldn't be a problem if that's the case?

anyone have any more solid info on verizon dsl ip's?
