just wondering if anyone knows of a website that you can use to where they give you an ip address and you pay by month for it thru a service. they provide you with a ip address and port number to use in a multiproxy firefox.

steve, We've been talking quite a bit through pm so I do understand your situation. You're making this a lot harder then it is. You need to change your ip, not try and hide it. You are in the US, you have MANY other options besides buying an ip or proxy which will just get you suspended.

What type of internet do you have? I'm sure I can locate a thread for you that will tell you how to change your ip with it. If you have a static ip, there are still many other options.

well im dealing with comcast cable internet. i have tried to change it multiple times which i was unsuccessful. how do i do this then? i have used a proxy and was not kicked off of ebay. on my last account. what messed up the last account was that the credit cards that i kept trying to give them didnt match up and i changed them too often i think. the original one that was on there was not confirmed either.

i know there is a site to were i can use a proxy and be able to have the IP they provide and be anonymous. i have been doing that on my current account. i just needto know which site i can go on for that so i can buy that.

Don't use a proxy, you WILL get suspended.

Simple, change your ip, run ccleaner, and make the account.

no i did that before on my previous account but everyone esays it is frowned upon by ebay and that will put me at risk. how do i change my IP address then? you guys make it sound so easy but i have not been able to do that from my house.

Did you follow the thread that tells how to change a cable ip? If you did and it didn't change, that means you have a static ip. Which means you will need to find another type of internet - Mobile broadband or dial-up are both good choices.

After trying to work out what the fudge you want (& drinking coffee) lakeman is on the mark.(as always :thumb:)

What you are using to access this forum today shows that your IP address stays the same, ie static. Simplest choice is to find another type of IP to use as lakeman said.
Use the SEARCH here & look for posts by First Edition who has posted at length about alternatives for IP access. :spy:
