IP address and geographic location-important?
 

I searched for this and didn't find it . My closest family member is across the country (I'm west coast, they're midwest). They offered to let me use their info. Would that account pretty much be destined to lose? Thanks!

great question, if you buy accounts is this also an issue?

I have 5 accounts set up in other states using my local ip's and so far going on between 3-6 months or so no problems. I do small volume, nothing crazy on those accounts though to stay way under the radar!!

Not a problem, I manage US account by proxy from Indonesia and they're good.
My proxy server in Dallas and my ebay account are mixed.

How do you use an ebay account through a proxy server without getting suspended?

And what if i create a new account with details of one country on a IP of completely different country?

i'm interested in creating a new account with address from a country in the Middle East but from an American VPS. will that be possible?

the account will be used only for selling cheap stuff...

you need to use a vps from the country you are creating the account in.

I'm curious about this too. If your registered address is let's say in Texas but the shipping tracking info shows that it's been shipped from Nevada. Is ebay/paypal gonna question that?

I have never had a problem with that ever. I have accounts from all over and ship from Phoenix everything

Wow! I didnt know that this is totally fine with ebay. Because i use addresses within my area. Thanks expert stealthers for new info everyday. :)

i know that already. but what if i keep working on the account always only from that un-matched VPS, will that raise any flags?

Eventually, yes it will. No need to raise red flags sinde there are so many options to stay stealthy.
