New Router - New IP?

Well I tried changing my IP many ways. Went to 192.169.0.1 I have the netgear CVG824G there just isn't an option to alter the Mac address. I tried Ipconfig/release /renew, tried going to network settings and changing it from there. But even thought some worked it was only temporary. So I was just thinking If I were to buy a completely new router, would my IP change for good? or does it have to do with the ISP?

I believe for each router you have each one will give you a different ip.
Have you thought about changing service provider to one that gives you a dynamic IP so each time you restart your router you get a new IP?

Hi I just changed my router and got a new IP address straight away :) new MAC address means new IP address as far as I know, I am on Virgin media UK, it has a dynamic IP but it never changed in months till I got a new router off a mate who works for them
