Problems IP adress

Hello
I have been trying for the last 4 days to get a new IP address following instructions from book. I have DSL wireless modem but no luck. I don’t know a lot about computers but I know I followed the instructions.
Can someone give me any ideas?
Have been suspended from eBay at least 4 times and Amazon
Thank you very much.

I got a really good suggestion from this forum. Buy a new router. I bought two new ones around 40 bucks at walmart and ordered one from comcast. Came home switched out the old one with a new one, followed the set-up, reset the modem and router and Bam! Brand new ip address. It was the perfect solution for me.

Easiest solution is stated above if you aren't as tech savvy. Can be done very quickly

But is the new IP address only needed for Seller Acct setup; or every single time you log into that new stealth ebay acct? What would be the point of switching out an old router/Ip address only to get a new one that gets used time-and-time again?
Thanks

Do you switch these out when you want to log into individual accts or does the new ip stick with the user name?I'm thinking about goin this route...I have a VPN and I hear its safer to stick with 1 ip for each user.
Thanks

So, you use a different router each time you need to log into your different eBay Accts? Is that very efficient? I guess you just block out time each day to work independently on each eBay Acct.

My issue is, I have other devices in our facility that need to have a connection (ip address, w/o constant changes) for other business functions.

Only my pc needs to have multiple ip addresses to access. As well as CSRs in different locations.
Thanks for answering
