hi i am a ebay user i sell on ebay from my laptop my brother also uses ebay he uses a pc in the same house the problem is that the ip address are the same on both laptop and pc i checked on both laptop and pc what is my ip address and they are the same can accounts become linked ? including paypal i am using stealth accounts with completley different details what do i do? can i have my own ip address on my laptop? we use sky broadband from a router the laptop is wirless and the pc is connected ethernet cable.

might be worth looking at 1 of those mobile dongle things :)

with Sky broadband you get a new IP each time you restart right?

If so id do that to be 100% stealth which may mean you not both using ebay at the same time.

However ebay wont ever suspend you via IP alone as long as thats the only thing that links you together.

As long as your both using completely different details you should be okay.

ibrought a 3g dongle today it gives you a new ip everytime you connect, 15 pound a month seems pretty cool

Unfortunately... yes.

However, if you look on eb and even amaz on, you can get some good deals and/or cheap credit - will work out much cheaper than paying 15 / month

I actually had 50g .. yes 50g of 3 credit last year - sold it for 10g
