They should have different MAC addresses in order to attain a different IP from your ISP.

tried again last night and still the same. when i go into user 2 and change mac address, it also changes it in user 3 so I have same MAC for user 2 & 3 when I log into my linkys router

The only thing next would be looking into 3g/4g modem

I can't use dail-up @ house due to having comcast cable and the phone line runs through that, so it soooooooo sloe

^^Of course it is the same for each user account after you have changed it. You have to change it again yourself. It doesn't stay different for each user account.

You have to change it everytime you log into a different user account. Changing back to the one you assigned earlier, you should get the same IP that was assigned.
