IP question for stealth account

Hi, I bought the stealth guide and am going through it question I am unsure if I can obtain a new ip address with a cable modem and router with nic port. I believe it is a static ip address

Welcome to the forum, stickies :yar:

A static IP address will stay the same.

However, you could consider using alternatives for a new IP. Have you considered tethering a cell phone or picking up a mobile card

Options do exist. :pop2:

You can contact your isp and ask them if it is a static or dynamic connection you have. If they say static, ask if they can make it dynamic. I have read that it has worked for some.
