Router problem...

So i was changing the mac address alot on the router today and it stopped making the wifi work. When I do direct connection to the modem it works. What gives?

Maybe there is something that needs to be refreshed? Your router and computer have tables where they store each others' MAC addresses.

Does it work if you connect by cable to the router?
Also please provide the model of your router

I have a linksys. I have always connected only through cable for that router.

If you get totally twisted around like this, just reinstall the router software that came with it. Always fixes the problems for me in the past whenever I was playing around with it.

I did not play it. I only done this to do my ebay work, but for some reason these new linksys routers have been having trouble with that. I will re-install software and see if that helps.
