SSH Tunnelling Safe?

Im not really into ebay but use paypal for my online web stores, all my accounts have been limited and near enough impossible to open account and take payments without limitations.

Im lucky enough to have access to a web server, so ive setup vmware on my mac installed a fresh xp pro installation and am now tunnelling all my traffic from the VM on SSH through my webserver.

The ip address on whatismyip shows my webserver so should i be safe?
