I have dsl internet hookup how can i get multiple ip adreses from the same dsl connection?Im lost can i do this?

Simply disconnect / reconnect. Depending on your modem, you can do this in the settings menu in your modem. Or just power cycle it.

Do this everytime you access a new account furlac.

Also recored the ip's address you have assosiated with ebay user account so you do not trip yourself up, although i don't think it is as needed as it used to be it's still better to be safe than sorry.

ok, where do I find the IP address. I haven`t found that. Why would I record it. How do I utilize it when I go into my diff accounts. Do I copy and then paste everytime I go onto the site. Sorry, I am not understanding that whole part. I know that I can power cycle.

Do have people have said in this thread to get new i.p address, to check it, start your browser and go to ipbuger.com or whatsmyip.org

it will tell you your i.p address there.

I say to record it in notepad or whatever, because eventually your i.p's will come round again, it is always good to know which have been used with eby/pp also if you have run a banned eby or pp account from this network the banned ip will come round again, you want to try and stop that happening, however all that said I'm not so sure i.p's matter so much anymore, in the u.k any way.

If you switch your router off for a min and the i.p does not change you probably have a sticky dynamic i.p, you need to kick start that off with smac or similar.

Thanks everybody so much for your threads. I figured it out, yah. I also spent a lot of time on the phone with my provider and got my security options and such. I also learned how to change my ip and such. Thanks again.
