IP Change on BT Broadband HomeHub 2.0
 

Ok so i pressed the reset button on the side, & checked to see if my ip had changed via IPburger - It did.. now... is that it? Will the IP be the same if I restart my computer? or will it revert back to the one before I reset the hub?

So is this now okay to open up a new ebay/paypal account if my IP has changed (i'm assuming that once my IP has changed it will stay that way unless I reset my hub?)

I have religiously gone through the eBay stealth guide & forum on this so please excuse any repeat questions.

always check your ip before logging in to ebay or paypal

bt broadband is good for ip changing

always log your ip's and check that they have not been used with other accounts

you should get the stealth guide if you never had it before

its a must have

Cheers - Yes I have the stealth guide it is very useful :) I'm having problems now with
Entropay (in real name) they want more ID from me than if I was applying for a UK Passport!

i have bt braodband homehub, all i do is press the on/off button on the back of the homehub thing and i get a new ip address each time :clap:

is a poor way with bt to be honest, there is a much better simpler way for someone running 2-3 account without the worry of i.p clash.
