Does anyone know of a good dedicated IP VPN provider? I need a good, solid company that provides a solid service.

You seriously need to search the forum.

If you are in the USA you have little need to use VPN>

This is stated in numerous threads.

Why are you going to do something stupid like use a VPN when they are detected by paypal & ebay.

There's not much info on this subject here, depth and detail. And there are those that have been successful with this method. No question is a stupid question. The widely used vpn's are noted to have been a problem, of which I do know this much, but others have been very successful otherwise.

Firstly, I will state that my knowledge of VPNs is "pi s s - poor" so don't interpret what I am going to say as being ill-willed.

BUT:

You have to figure that you have to earn more cred in the forums for very successful folx to WANT to share their knowledge with you...knowledge EARNED by trial and error, failed accounts, limitations, annoyances, etc. That comes with time.

GreenBean is a fierce well of info and she no doubt has contacts AND goons who have an insane amount of info at their disposal. Will she/they provide that to you without a contributive attitude and being open to real criticism? That is the question you need to ask to move on well.

I am sure that folx work with VPNs all the time.

I'm stumped, coming here is a community of sorts, no pretension of sorts. Advice given to someone who needs it, because on ebay no one is your community, everyone (sellers and ebay/paypal) are out to get you. The only exception is a ligit buyer who just wants or needs what you have and desire nothing but to get on their way and on with life after purchase, sometimes even when what they purchase is questionable after receiving it. I didn't know I have to jump through the same hurdles as what's on ebay. Ebay's set up the perfect system to legally rob people from both ends of the candle (IRS, so not for long). It's pretty cruel when you think about it, but medicine is on it's way. You might do everything correctly and it really doesn't matter there does it? Does it matter here? Because I would like to know what I am doing wrong so that I can do it right. My aim is to do it right! And in return, tell someone else who deserves the right to know.

Well back to your original q - and GB has correctly alluded to this - why do you feel you need a VPN? Are you based in the US? If so you a have a LOT of options for IP - cable, dsl, dongle, phone tethering, etc.

How can I log into a Canada account from the US without it?

I think the answer is, "I don't know". Which is okay because I don't know. Of course if there is someone who knows that would be good. There's thousands of them out there but of course it has to be the right one or... It's a pretty straight forward question.:cheer: I like this!

Ah so you want into my country IP. See now it's clearer - figured you were just accessing US stuff.

For Canada, you could consider dial-up.

I'm new on here too and have been reading this place for a few weeks from Jan 2011 to current. I can tell you, that question has been asked about 1 Million times lol.

The search feature is your friend.

1. IP ranges have been identified & banned by eb/pp
2. Abused by other eb/pp users with tons of recycled banned IPs
3. IPs nowhere near registered address causing limitations or address verification requests

Your best bet with Vpns if you must go that route is to find local little known small services and even that is taking a big risk.
