Default anyone use stealthy?

hi

i have had a stealth account for over a year now, was looking to open another using a different laptop etc but my ip always stayed the same on the laptops in my house, i have downloaded firefox add on called stealthy .... ran ipchicken on both laptops and they now both have different ip addresses.

what i want to ask is do you think this would be safe enough to go ahead and open another ebay/paypal account if my ip addresses were different?

thanks

Sounds fine as long as you ip addresses are different your good to go! i'm guessing you never used eBay/Paypal previously on the laptop?

My only worry about this would be "stealthy" firefox addon and how reliable it is, i've never heard of it personally, you might want to read up a few reviews on first.

Well make a new stealth account and see how it goes you got nothing to lose, but a new account.

Some trial and error perhaps.

Good luck.

Default stealthy

thanks for that, as you say not much to lose unless they connect the two accounts? do you have any other suggestions to seperate ip addresses from the same house hold?

I'm guessing your using some router? which one desktop/laptop is already connected too, and your planning on having a laptop conntect with same ip right, well i'm not sure if you can seperate the ip if your using that method.

You can change the mac address on the router but that will change the ip for everything you connect too, so maybe not a good idea.

Why not stick the laptop/desktop your using now but make a new user account (profile) on it?

Or perhaps, a usb mobile dongle internet for the laptop you want to use it for, some rather cheap offers ones now adays, I actually use mobile internet on my laptop aswell for a family eBay account, the money i make of eBay basically pays for the internet.

I'd wait for more posts and see what others have to say!

As rsot said it will probably safer to get the stealth guide as if it was a year ago you set up your other account things will have changed.

Using a dongle will give you a totally new Ip address. i unplug mine and plug it back in and it changes everytime.

Good luck

Stealthy = major bad idea.

Read the reviews for it... One user says they logged into their PayPal act when using it and got the act. nuked because it seems that the ip they were using was associated with a bad account.

The ip's will be constantly recycled - so the chances of getting a bad one seems high - avoid like the plague!
