Triggering location limitation?
 

I don't get it, I'm logging in from all sorts of proxies into paypal and it's not triggering a demand for location verification. No money is in the accounts, one account has a VBA and a VCC, the other has neither. Is moving money into them the only way to get it trigger these days? Or does the remote proxy login have to happen weeks after the creation of the account? I've tried logging in from countries like Romania as well. At this rate, gmail seems way more strict...

Once you start moving money the proxies will kill you for sure.

Why was this moved to the ebay subforum? Part of the idea is tracking on paypal is less intense than on ebay...

If anything it is more because there is money involved

there are a lot less ebay sellers than paypal cash receivers, on a scale of like 100 to 1 or maybe 1000 to 1, no?

automated location trigger is more an ebay thing, but paypal still has it...

i want to trigger pp asking for my docs, but without the bother of having money already in the accounts. maybe the guys i read doing this were creating ebay seller accounts too, maybe creating an ebay seller account but not using it is a good way to have a cleaner pp account...

oh yeah that method. it kind of works, i never did it deliberately though, it will happen if it happens, when you are on wrong ip..or sell something real quick on new acc...

You're better off using the name change feature. It involves you uploading a photo ID + utility bill and does not draw negative attention to your account
