IP location match
 

i see a lot of people mentioning that you need to make your IP address match the location of your account or risk suspension...

i have also seen people mention that you can use a "geo-locator" to rectify this problem. so what i'm wondering is... what is a geo-locator and where do i find one? i

'm pretty good with semi-technical stuff but right now this concept is over my head.... i understand what i need to do, but i have no idea where to start looking for a program like this.

i'm no wizard, but i definitely learn quick with adequate instruction. so if anyone could give me a jump start and either explain this to me better, or even just point me in the right direction, i'd be ever so grateful.

forget about anything like that...just keep your addresses as close as possible to the i.p if you can.

In the UK I have had London street addresses work fine with northern i.p addresses. I guess in the big ol' US of A the distances are a little larger though!

My current ones don't correspond - UK street addy and China IP = required to provide docs.

The name of the game is stealth so don't do what I do!

Will I be ok with a mainland UK address and an off shore Island IP address??

does not matter at all, as long as it unique and different you are good.

i have several account, for example one account that is listed as a California address but the vps i have is in chicago.

to this day, eBay and PayPal have not said anything.

That is a very good question, I would say it should not matter, but once you go from two different countries, that is a little sketchy and raises flags.

But several business men travel and use PayPal all the time constantly on different IP addresses, yet again i still do not know how this fully works.

Guess a uk vps wont work for long for a USA EB / PP acc?

What if a VPS you are on that other people unknown to you also have stealth acc on the same vps, will get busted as it ip is linked?

So any uk vps is ok for EB UK acc?
