Default Iphone tethering question

I have been doing multiple stealth accounts for a little over a year and a half now and I have never run into this problem. I use my iPhone to tether to my laptop and I do the flight mode on-off trick to retrieve a new IP address everytime I log into different accounts. This has always worked for me. i keep a log of all the IPs I have used in a spreadsheet. Occasionally I would get a duplicate and I would just do a quick on/off flight mode to retrieve a new IP. Well, here is the problem. Recently the first few numbers of the IPs has changed and now I am only getting a reacurring IPs constantly. Maybe like 10. They just repeat themselves over and over. Before I had hundreds of different ones. Is there a way around this? I have 20 stealth accounts and this is just not cutting it. Thanks in advance!

Me to. I am in the same boat as you. I have shipping labels that need to be printed ASAP! I'm getting desperate. I might just go buy a prepaid mifi hotspot on verizon. Expensive, but I have multiple accounts running. This is throwing a BIG wrench in my game.

I was looking at the MiFi 2200 as well and I saw with sprint it's cheaper like 35$ a month for 2gb of data, I haven't heard if sprint changes ips as frequent though.

I know it does with Verizon, it's just more expensive :/ I think the lowest plan you can get with MiFi on Verizon is 50$ a month. Definitely worth it for business I guess.

If you really need to print those labels, I recorded which ip's went to which account so when it comes up again I use that ip on the same account again

Well, another problem that I have noticed is that my IP's have been changing while I am working with an account. I am not cycling the phone off and on with airplane mode. It is just changing IP's randomly. I am affraid to use it because of this.

Oh damn, I'm not sure why that's happening, it hasn't been doing that with my iPhone.

I may end up buying the MiFi, I have a feeling the ip thing with the iPhone wont change back.

By the way, does your username have anything to do with Boca Raton?

I have the same feeling. I went into the store & called in to tech service. I had them disconnect my phone from the tower. Nothing changed & neither knew what I was talking about. Luckily my contract with AT&T is up at the end of this month. I have a very expensive bill with them every month.

AT&T won't be downgrading their network, so take that as a hint as to what is to come and be prepared.

Also, I answered your MiFi questions in the other post you talked about the same subject previously. MiFi boxes are the best investment hands down.

I broke down and purchased a verizon MiFi box. The new Jetpack 890 & Whoaaaaaaaaa! Super duper fast! Huge range of IPs..... Very happy with it. I will be dumping AT&T at the end of this month when my contract is up, I had to invest a little into it, but hey, this is a business!

The investment is small now. They used to be much, much more when they first hit the market.

Waking up every day knowing you have massive IP ranges and don't have to do any work for it is awesome. Glad someone on this forum finally listened to my praises.

Default What do you ean you use your IPHONE to tether to laptop?

Hi,

I a setting up my 1st stealth acct and I was going to use my IPHONE 4S in 3G and turn off wifi to set up y new stealth acct. This is a new Iphone and never used it with Amazon before.
Can I use it this way to set up acct or how do I do this?
What is difference of doing this or turn off and on the airplane mode you mention?
What do you mean that you use your iphone to tether to your laptop? How do you do this? What is the difference of doing this or just using your iphone instead of laptop (I used my laptop on my closed acct so I think they would close my new acct if I use it.).
please reply back
Thanks

@booshki: I suggest you read Amazon Ghost by Aspkin if you have not already. I am sure it will answer all of your questions. As for me, I sell on eBay, so I read his eBay ebook. You can use an iPhone to tether your internet connection to your comp/laptop so that you can get a different IP address everytime (turn the airplane mode off and then on to generate a new IP address). You need to access your account(s) on a comp/laptop instead of your phone so that you can have different user accounts so that you do not cross-contaminate cookies/tracking/etc. Again, read the ebooks & search the forum......it will answer all your questions and more so that you can become successfull.
