Dedicated VPN?
 

I've read a lot about how using proxies and VPNs are the worst ideas you can use, but what about using a dedicated VPN, a VPN that no one has ever used before? Wouldn't that work?

Well when people refer to VPN they usually referring to dedicated VPN. Nobody in their right mind would log into Paypal through Hidemyass or something like that.

People have reported problems with dedicated VPN, including myself.

The question is why do you want a VPN?

You want to find a low-profile VPN that might not be popular as you might be one of the only ones using it for PP on that subnet, so that's your best shot.

Personally, I've been using VPNs for years without any issues. If you do something wrong, then it's your own fault.

What helps are your reasons for wanting to use a VPN given you are based in the USA.

Oh I don't need a VPN, I just moved not long ago so I have a new IP anyway. I was just wondering why a dedicated VPN would cause issues when they should have never been used before.

Your very first post indicates you know why VPNs 'are the worst ideas you can use'.

Even though you have no use for them, you are still very interested in knowing how to use VPN/VPS at some level.

Within what context beyond mere interest, do you have in mind for these services ???

You are on an EB/PP forum (not a tech forum), so the natural assumption is that these services are/were intended to be used on EB/PP in some way.....clarification was sought over this bit.:boink:
