Are VPN's successful for Stealth Accounts?
 

Hey guys,

It's been awhile since I've been around these parts, hope you are all doing very well!

I recently moved to a new location and unfortunately don't have Comcast anymore which made it super-easy for me to switch IP's.

Now that I have a static IP, what are my options these days? Can I use a VPn or some special kind of proxies (Socks for example)?

Hi, we've never met but I would suggest perhaps a dongle which might make it easier to switch IP's.

dongle is definitely a great investment for this business

get an additional internet connection..... like a USB air card for example. You can tether your phone, get dial up.... Also consider adding another ISP that doesn't require a static connection.

No one actually mentioned the use of a VPN with a private, exclusive IP?

I plan to run about 10 accounts... so need something that is worth managing.

I hate to say it... about vpns.... but it's been discussed before. You've been here long enough... come on meow. :)

The book says no VPNs but it seems that a few people use with the success. Try and let us know:)

4 accounts from 08 and 09 been using strictly VPN's from StrongVpn .com never had a problem. I use a different VPN location for each accounts. But I am a conservative stealth user. I have different picture and listing backgrounds for each account. Use different picture services and try to vary my descriptions. I also rarely list the same items on different accounts. Some accounts I use multi-varation listings others I don't even though it costs me more in fees. I also only use TracFone numbers until the account is well established with 100 seller feeds and like 6 months registration then I use google voice to save money.

Where did you learn to use vpns? You've only been on the forum for 6 months.

I had been suspended several times back from 05-07 on eBay for various things. I had already purchased eBay stealth in like 06 or 07 it clued me in on the Flash Cookies I had no idea about why kept linking my accounts. I had a few people I knew we all where going through a similar issue with eBay an on of them told me about VPNs and recommended the site. I just looked up the tutorial and figured I would give it a shot.
