How does the new IPv6 help us?

I went to: http://ipv6test.google.com/

It says I dont have IPv6, but what is the difference with the way we use ipv4?

Of course you don't have it. It's not even implemented yet. It's to make room when IPv4 officially runs out of numbers. Thank such devices like your precious iPhones and iPads. The surge in internet connected mobile devices per person has sucked up all of the addresses available.

Interesting concept.

In Feburary or March of this year, the last of the IPv4 were handed out. I would expect within the next two years to see more of IPv6.

IPv6 is your current IPv4 plus another set of numbers in front of it. It might get change in future but this is how it works right now.
