resetting router

I have BT Infinity and unfortunately could not change the mac on there (looked at all the settings but that option wasn't available) - however I found that upon resetting the router my ip address (via ipburger) was changed.

Does that therefore clear the ip address step? I should add that if I go to ipconfig the usual numbers appear (192.168 etc.) but assume that number exists with most computers.
