Accidently logged into 2 stealth accounts with same IP address. What now?
 

Hi there,

I have a few stealth accounts and yesterday I accidently logged into
"Stealth account B" under the same IP address as previously logged in with
"Stealth account A".

I have a spread sheet of my accounts and the IP addresses that are used.
I always log in using my iphone and refresh the IP address.

On this occasion I realised that the same IP address has been used several months ago. (I would imagine because the ISP rotates IP addresses)

Neither accounts have been limited before and both have relatively low activity.

Will Paypal limit or now scrutinise activity on these accounts?
Anything I should now be aware of?

Should be safe.

Based on your info, a one-off repeat of an IP is not disaster.

The plus to this is that you are using a mobile. It's known that the IP range with them is 'limited'.

Good work for having your info sheet active. It's a big plus to work well in stealth doing that :thumb:

Agree with the GB. If it was a logging with a repeat IP that was used several months ago, it won't kill ya.

Dont repeat - wait patiently - one time unlikely to cause problems

When they track IPs, it also has time stamp along with an IP.
If you logged into 2 accounts on same IP at a closed period, it could be a problem.
In your case, if you got unique IP each time you logged in, given an IP was issued long time ago, you should be OK.
