IP Question
 

Hey,
I have a question. What if you're at a Cybercafé or a busy place like a Shopping, can your accounts get linked? Even if you clear all the cache and data...
the ip would be the same. How does it work in those cases?

Its possible, i would not log into my seller accounts in a cafe shop.....

Never use an Internet you are not familiar with. How many people do you think have logged into Ebay/Paypal from those cybercafes? Use common sense and will be fine.

Cafe shops can have IPs that have been burned to the ground by users and other nefarious doers.

Never operate eB at public internet.. That's 100% suicide

Thank You but I don't understand. Why is it suicide? Why they would able to track me if I'm in a place where a bunch of people go in and out everyday?

There is a danger that some user in deep doo-doo with ebay/paypal may use the system.

Another point, and I am speaking from experience, not all web masters clear data. A user at these cafes may think they have cleared everything. But not so.

Options exist better than this.

And to change your IP on your Ipad, does this work? Looks so simple.
I also don't get it. If you have 3 stealth accounts for example, and if you release the Ip for each time you get to each, wouldn't they get suspicious that you're constantly changing location? Instead (by not having) of a stable IP?

No cause some people still have Dial-up or not static IP's. As long as the IPs are from around a certian area and not different states then it won't matter.
