Struggling to change IP address!
 

Hello everyone,

I have searched and found forums relating to this problem however I am still confused on how to get past this, basically my ISP is Sky which is in the UK, now I've been reading the forums and found if you have the latest version 2.04 and if you have something called 'MER' also if you have a D-link router you are not able to change your Wan MAC address, but on the forums I read that some people on Sky have been able to do this somehow with some sort of software?

Also I was wandering is there another possible way to change my IP address for SKY?

Sorry if I'm asking Questions that have been answered before, I am very new to this and I have read the stealth guide a few times before I posted here.

The only way I found I could change it was to switch off and then back on after thirty minutes during peak times.

If you need more than the two to three times a day option that peak times offers then you may just need a dongle.

Buy a dongle or use your phone for streaming, simples :)

Thanks guys for the reply's :) Just one more question, with the switching off and on for 30 minutes, let's say I log into one of my accounts with one ip address then next time I log into that same account but with a different IP address, would that make ebay suspicious about me?

Proved you have the user account made, containing the cookies, no.

Don't forget if the IP is already recognized as dynamic, this is fine for ebay/paypal.

As you are starting off, I do suggest an excel file with all your info. Do consider running aspkin's creation IP Burger - Track Your IP Address!, should you track IPs.
