Interesting question about IP tracking from ebay
 

I know that ebay can track your IP address only when you sign in ebay, but I am still wondering the following....Today I entered into my new User account and I forgot to fix my browser and to clear all the cookies. I was looking at my email connected with my brand new ebay account from my regular IP address. Then I clicked on ebay.com - it was saying "hello sell876gh688" and "sign in". Of course I didn't sign in. But my question is...So the cookies knows that this is "sell876gh688" account, but can ebay track my ip address regardless the fact that I didn't sign in?
Also before I sign in if I browse in ebay with one IP address /my original one/ and when I want to bid on an item and I change my IP address and sign in without closing or changing the page - can ebay still track my original IP address somehow?

In both scenarios, YES...you'll be linked and eventually suspended.
