Mobile Phone IP
 

Hey guys,

I've got internet on my phone and I am able to tether the internet through wifi to create a new network that my computer can connect to.

Will this be a fresh start IP wise or is there anything else that I have to account for?

Tethering is a good way to Stealth, just make sure you do the following:

Keep Track of your IP's.

Make sure you connect with the cable and not wifi.

with what cable?

and if I'm always connecting to my mobile network through computer and even the app I should be good, right?

What kind of Phone do you plan to use?

it's a samsung galaxy S3

ok, I assume you have a cable that can be connected from the phone to your Computer, am I right to assume this? If so...that cable!

Dont tether wifi its not safe is will grab your broadband connection and use usb cable only

So its not good to have the same IP twice?
Is it best if it changes every time you get on?

No, it's not good to have the same IP across multiple accounts, yes it's best to have a different IP every time you log into a new account.

Now there is something I have been trying to figure out...I did get a repeat IP that was 3-4 months apart and nothing happened, but that's not say something can or will happen to my accounts.

If you get a repeated IP it is alright to sign on to the account that you previously used it.

Just do not cross IP's between accts.

Make sure you track your IP's. It is imperative.

It would still be a good idea to track your IP's. When you decide to expand, then you will have a list to work off of. You would not want to tie acts together down the line.

Now is the time to train yourself to log everything. It becomes second nature and is long term very useful.

Quite often users say they have forgotten vital info. Having the info at hand helps with your running of even one account.

I have yet to find a tethering solution for at&t that stays working . It sucks!
