How to protect your anonymity if VPN service drops the connection?

I have been using a program called VPN Lifeguard, but sometimes it will not connect. I think it is an issue with my VPN service provider rather than VPN Lifeguard.
Anybody have an alternative?

GreenBean 03-04-2013 04:12 PM

Dont use VPN.

Other alternatives exist.

Have you looked?

Hey GB. Thanks for jumping in. I have researched my options somewhat, but I am still pretty new to Stealth accounts. I have AT+T Uverse. It is DSL with a static IP so router swapping is out of the question. I have 8 accounts all in different locations, so I think a dongle is out of the question...Dial up is a possibility...but, the speed is a concern. VPN made the most sense to me, and that is what was recommended by the guy who has been selling me accounts. We have been up and running for 6 months with out any accounts getting shut down, but recently we have been havering trouble getting VPN lifeguard to work with some of our VPN's. If it doesn't work...we simply do not log in, but we need to service our accounts 5 times a week at least. What would you suggest?

I have ATT Uverse. Great for watching TV and recording 4 shows at one time, but sucks for Stealth.

VPN = Nightmare :smash:

I only do PP, dialup works fine.

Packattack12 03-04-2013 07:37 PM

^ Yeah that's why I got rid of my Uverse. Check out VPS's..

cheapandeasy 03-04-2013 08:30 PM

VPS looks like it might be the ticket for me. Is there a particular company you would recommend? I'd like to investigate this option further.

Dial-up or VPS or Dongle or Phone tethering

You physically located in Canada OP?

GreenBean 03-05-2013 07:14 AM

Research is the key.

Not sure that dial -up would be fast enough to handle 5 accounts.

Thanks for the help everyone. I think I will switch to a VPS. Seems like the safest solution...smallest margin for human error.

VPS (not VPN) is one of the best ways to use Stealth.

Same IP every time. No changes. PP/EB like that.

Can access remotely from anywhere in the world.

Window or Mac, can use either.

Location is Stealth. EB/PP will not know where you really live.

I don't think you need to create User accounts on your computer <<<< still looking into that.

I vacation a lot, hate logging in from different IP when on holiday. With VPS, problem is eliminated.

I can use Public WiFi and it won't make any difference, account would still show same IP as always.

I'm seriously considering creating all my PP accounts using VPS.

I don't think it's possbile to use dialup with Ebay.

Paypal, yes.

Ebay, I can't see images loading up. If I had to use dialup for Ebay I'd shoot myself in the foot.

I have over 20+ PP accounts and only log-in once in a while.

And it's SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW :smash:

I get a different IP every time, that's the only thing worthwhile about dialup.

cheapandeasy 03-13-2013 03:28 PM

Ok all, I have switched some of my accounts to VPS, and I am getting new IP addresses that are in the same country, but miles away from my ebay accout address. Should I change the address on my ebay accounts? Should I make the addresses match on paypal? Thank you in advance.
