This is a question mainly to those of you with more than one stealth account. Do you ensure your IP addresses is always different when logging into your accounts, or is it only a problem when using an ip which was used on a banned account? Thanks.

It's about both, You want to make sure you don't get a repeat IP address from the Active and Banned Accounts.

Thanks. | Purpose is to operate so as to never LINK accounts.
Banned or otherwise, a good stealther takes every step to never be linked.
Logs and good record keeping are the crux of success. |

OP, you need to avoid making any links so you should keep IP different. People do like to keep logs of IP in order to ensure no linking via IP.

Whatever else you are doing, you should make sure you log all your info.
Main preference is for excel files with all your info. |

Most users have more complex business plans.
Never see how notepad has the flexibility.
Suspect you do it because everyone else says excel. |

Just placed it out for an option if OP wants simplicity - or wordpad rather than notepad.

Rocketman, suggest you look into a Dongle, might give you a larger IP pool.

Are the last ip addresses usually logged or do web systems log the last 5/10 ips used on an account and how long can you expect the ips to be kept on file.

Logs are keep of all IPs by the web systems.
They are kept forever.
So an IP used 18 months back could still be 'found'.
What are you trying to find out?
Are you hoping to be able to reuse IPs or want to know if it is dangerous to have a recycled IP? |

Of course, IPs recyle depending on the pool of the ISP.
That in itself is not necessarily problematic. |

That in itself is not necessarily problematic. | Why is that not problematic, when IP addresses are used to link accounts?
