good vpn options
 

hi guys, as many of you know i am an expat now living in spain. i have set up various ebay stealth accounts using different trial and error methods discussed in this very forum.

Because my accounts are for ebay uk i have needed to be based in the uk hence needed a uk ip. I was using HIDE MY ASS but found it very unstable and slow, but never had a problem when using ebay, i have since tried a company a lot off people in spain use called EXPATSHIELD that completely hides your ip instead of saying you are in a certain country.

This was going fine until i lost 3 accounts all in the same day using this method. What other vpn companies do you guys use that states that you are in the UK other than HMA. Any feedback more than welcome.

HIDE MY ASS is no good for stealth. Far too popular. EB and PP know all about it

Nothing completely hides an IP. It may hide your actual local IP, but EB or PP will see an IP, just not yours. There is nothing that totally stops you from having an IP. Closest anyone can get to be anon on the web is Tor, and again this does not work for stealth

Best bet is to use a UK based VPS. Go at least 15 pages deep in Google to avoid the popular ones.

The very besy VPN you can use for your situation is none or nadda.

Expats in your situation have been the ones who have fallen victim to HMA & EXPATSHIELD. ( friend in Turkey got zapped because of that VPS after getting zapped using HMA. Friend in Spain had the same issues. They were horrified. Both were more than cluey about stealth practices).

This leaves you with options, of course.
Dial-up may be an option even if it is slow.
The other choice is VPS. Without naming a specific company, it is a matter of choosing one that is not popular. One that is not known to paypal/ebay matters.
Look at GOOGLE. Go at least 10 pages in with your search. The higher in the search, the more known the VPS will be. That increases your risk.
Proper research will give good results.

Best suggestion. OR go for logmein or teamviewer and ACCESS a computer in the UK (would need a UK-based person`s help however).

I am always concerned about logmein or teamviewer being used as you suggested.

What if the 'contact' in whatever country fails with access etc etc?

VPS does allow better control of business.

use a vps personally i use nfoservers as a host they been awesome price is kind of high but its worth it imo

How is dial up an option ?
Will dial up not send their Spanish IP and give away their location ?
Do you mean use a UK dial up access number via an international call ?

For dial-up ...to get a UK IP...you need a UK ACCESS number - so you find one and dial that up - I access my UK accounts like this.

Painfully slow I will say in advance but, hey, it does the trick.

Yes - I do overseas dial-up hah - you should the SAVINGS I have on my phone bill for choosing unlimited world calling.

As for using logmein or teamviewer, it is NOT a viable option on dial-up...once you end the dial-up...your connection to other computer is lost. For teamviewer and logmein, you need stable IP access at all times.

Dial-up can disconnect randomly...
