IP address near physical address, virtual mailbox linking multiple accounts
 

All my IP addresses show my main location. I want multiple accounts, but if I get a virtual mailbox and use the same address, they will be linked. But if I use a virtual mailbox with addresses around the country, they won't be linked, but my IP won't be in that area.

What is the best solution?

I think I will get local po boxes for each account, and the addresses are different so it should work.

Sounds like a good place to start.

Local po boxes is fine for each account - IP does not need to physically match the address....make sure the IP is at least from the same country...

The post office will only allow you to get one po box, usually.

Also, something like a UPS store box looks like a real street address. All you have to do is change the number be even one and you're fine.

Hmm I have had (in the past) 3 boxes at the USPS post office in New york state...possible rules have changed.

Mom and Pop post offices will tend to be more loose and let you have more - as will UPS who love making money.

With a UPS store box, won't I have to use the same address for all the accounts? Even if the box number #XXXX changed, won't the street address and zip code link them? But SURELY in a big city there could be numerous people using that same store street address on ebay.

How many people live a huge apt complex? I don`t think, anybody in their right mind will both with apt #s. USPS PO is like a huge apt complex.

Not true. Found this on the USPS website. I can manage 5 online, but have more than that. That works for me. Only $5/mo each.

What I meant was that at a UPS store people will have different box numbers, but share the same street and zip code of the store. eBay shouldn't ban just because of address alone.

Also, if I use the same address 10 times, that's as bad as using my real address 10 times. So the UPS / virtual mailbox is only good for one account?

This logic makes sense. I wonder if anyone is using an Anytime Mailbox successfully for this reason.

hey there, this is a super old thread, can you make a new thread and place it at the top of the main area of the forum on top?

PS: Isn't anytime MB a virtual address?
