| EbayWho | 08-07-2013 03:47 PM | New ip address, Out of the clear? So I altered my router numbers, and changed my Ip address, its confirmed.
so now when I sign up for ebay I cant be linked ?
providing I follow the rest of the steps..
But I just wanna be clear following the stealth book Im doing it right. |
As long as your new IP is completely different than your old IP you should be fine. |
| JamesNorth101 | 08-07-2013 04:02 PM | So long as everything else is new and you cannot be linked by cookies or flash then your good.
Have to make sure that all the other steps are also being adhered to though as you said :)
Make sure you keep track of your IP's |

Your method of accessing the internet is one part of the whole story.
What other steps have you done

| EbayWho | 08-07-2013 08:35 PM | Still reading the book, not even on page 10 yet.. just got to IP part, so im learning more.
ill read it a few times before anything. i read a few pages and start over and move on and re read again
.
I now have cc cleaner also., glarys, and super anti spyware.
but love reading it, its simple to understand. |

Im jazzed! so far so good |
| Dmshark25 | 08-07-2013 08:55 PM | Just take your time build all your accounts solid and link free
I always like to create my Paypal first add bank and prepaid credit card than create the ebay use all same information
Your first month take it slow, I find when I list one item the first month , something low risk , a book , something at the dollar store, after it sells I let the account sit , just browse a little
Than the next month I list to the limits and been getting faster raises this way
Not sure if its just coincidence but the last 4 accounts created I did this method and got raises in the second month , I would list all 10 items than log back in and there would be limits raised to 20,50,and 100 |

| Furious George | 08-08-2013 10:47 AM | You CAN be linked, without a doubt.
Changing the IP is the first of many steps you need to take to make sure you leave behind no trail.
Also, don't assume your IP is different. Make sure you keep a simple log of your IP address changes. |
| eldonjuan | 08-08-2013 12:18 PM | Ip address question I recently got a new internet provider and router.
I wanted to see if i open a new ebay will that get linked to my old account even though i have a new router? I have used and opened my old account with my new router however it has been suspended.
I also used my suspended account and logged in at my work computer.
Will ebay see the same IP address at work if i open a new account?
My point is do i need to completely get a new IP address to stay off their radar? |

| Again, you have to log IP changes, you need to have separate user accounts to keep cookies separate. Quote:

| Every time you make a new Account OR Log into your new Accounts you need to make sure you have new IP's EVERYTIME, even if your logging into old suspended accounts you need to make sure you aren't using the same IP's from other accounts. |

But I just wanna be clear following the stealth book Im doing it right. | Please remember that changing your Ip isn't everything. While you need to make sure it is different you need to make sure the cookies are off your computer as well. What I like to do is just use a old lap top and open a new user account for each account. This helps with the cookie problem. That way I can just delete a user account off my computer if for some reason that account got banned! |
