Not happy with US tmobile and tethering
 

Hello

I have been trying to create accounts with my US tmobile cellphone but I keep getting the same IP for two days. Restart, airplane mode, etc. keeps getting me the same IP.

The IP has changed once during the week. It makes running multiple stealth accounts impractical.

I have picked up a Virgin U600 3g/4g usb stick as recommended on the forum and I will see if I get a better pool of IPs.

Grrrrrr. I am happy with t mobile as their service/price ratio but not for stealth.

I find that Verizon although pricey has a huge pull of IPs , I have yet to get double

Is that using 3g or 4g?

Sometimes when you go cheap you get cheap.

T Mobile sucks when it comes to using it for tethering.

Lots of duplicates etc.

Are you using something like PDA net?

I am using mywi ( same as pdanet) on jailbroken iphone.

It is running 3g. Pool if ip is really small and ip does not change often despite phone reboot.

I am installing a virgin u600 right now.

I'm on Verizon Dongle and it rocks, the price does reflect the service I get. $50/Month is well worth every dollar.

Just finished my test with Virgin U600 usb stick. It works great for stealth. I got 4 ip by simply connecting/disconnecting.

Only downside, I am only get 3g where I live and connection is slow but it beats getting stuck with static IP or paying expensive VPS.

I will try the Verizon Dongle for my next batch of stealth of accounts.

Sandy: what do you use for your ip solution?

Verizon is making a move up north - I am waiting to see what IP is achievable with them....but lots of pushback against by our major cell carriers here /sidenote
