Each computer have one ebay account!
 

I am new here. I have 4 computer at home. Each computer just login one ebay account. These computer use a same IP. I was running this for a year. But never got problem.
I am thinking if I use one computer and create 4 different user account. And each user acc just login one ebay account. Will I be in trouble ? If I am not change my IP each time. I am sure I will in trouble .
My question is .... What is different between 4 computer and 1 computer with 4 user account?

There is no difference except that it would be more convenient and less work if you setup 1 computer with multiple user accounts. Also, if you want to be successful you need to change IP's between accounts or you will be linked.

A helluva lot more extra room in your office, that's one huge difference.

Changing your IP is key in running stealth accounts. You have to be able to access different IP's for your 4 accounts.

Before I never change my IP. But my 4 account runs ok about one year. After reading this forum I learn that is so important to change IP. Each time. I can just reboot my louder to get new IP . Do I have to do this each single time? Is there any trouble every time I login with a different IP?

Are you certain there are no issues? As you said, each computer uses the same IP, so in essence all 4 of your accounts are sharing the same IP! If one of your accounts has an issue, there is a strong possibility that all will get taken down simultaneously.

With your setup, all you're really doing is keeping cookies separated by computers. We often say that IP alone cannot link you, however, how do you think it looks to ebay if 4 accounts are always using the same IP over the span of days, months?


Using 1 computer with 4 user accounts will keep your cookies separate. You still need to change IP addresses when you change between user accounts. You will need to keep track of your IP addresses. A few good sample excel spreadsheets have been provided on the forum.

With the way you have these 4 computers setup (sharing the same IP), there is no difference than having 1 computer w/ user accounts.

There becomes a difference if....

1 computer is using mobile tethering
1 computer is using wifi from your ISP
1 computer is using dial-up
1 computer is using USB dongle.

Basically if all 4 computers have different IP addresses, then that would be great. If they are sharing the same IP, then it is no different than 1 computer and 4 user accounts.

I have 4 computer, all connect to one louder. I check their IP . They are same. But I never max up. Each ebay acc only login one computer. And the linking PayPal. Before I have two account had suspect but the other live account did not get link.still working now. I have not change IP at all. But those two computer which I use to login the two suspect acc, I never use them for ebay.

I just worry about if I use the same computer although I use a different user account to login different ebay account , they will get link. I am not good at computer.

From now on, I will change IP before login each account. I am still studying in this forum.

All the accounts you are currently operating from one IP are linked , if u logged in with the same IP one time u may be ok but a year just consider every account u have as one account.

Now start making new accounts all under different user accounts and diff IP for each account and not one piece of information should be exactly the same across acounts

Lets say I have ebay account A B and C. Every time I need to Chang IP before I login. This cot every time I login the same ebay account I use a different IP to. Ebay will check one account alway use different IP to login? Is there any way to do each time I login same account use Sam IP. But different between A B C accounts?

A VPS, or getting several static IP's

No need really though, never had issues with using lots of different IP's on EB or PP

So long as you don't use the same IP address for account A B and C, then you don't need to worry about using lots of different IP's when logging in.

Just make sure you never use the same IP on different stealth accounts.

Ya my advice is the same as the rest of them. Start making new accounts (stealth) and learn how to operate them. Start slowing selling on them as well. This will def give you peace of mind if (when!!!!) your accounts get caught, and your shut down.

Because your accounts are linked as well I would also keep my balance in those paypal accounts lower then usual. Remember however to still leave a good amount in, but not alot where your going to miss it for 6 months lol

These 4 accounts, yesterday 3 account have 10/$1000 sales limit. 1account have 30/$2000. Today 2 account 10/$1000. 1 account 30/$2000. 1 account 60/$4500

I am going to continue to sell until they suspend... I will keep change IP. Hope they can last longer until my new stealth ready....

Sounds like you got a plan. Not ideal or solid, however you make up your mind... Just remember if you have an issue with one then you share issue with others. Its not against policy to have multiple ebay accounts. So you may not have had an issue YET....

Wen I change IP. I just power of and then power on my modem. every time I just do this i got a new ip.

no clear.... need help.
(all my computers is connect to my router and then modem. I use cable to connect not wireless. )
