Im out of Mac Address numbers? Help
 

As stated in the book, change the last number in my mac for a new ip.

I am using 3 different numbers and 2 are considered bad from past accounts.
i tried changing them from 1-9 and using 1,2,3,5 for example will not even connect online

i tried change letters and such.. please help. I have to get more accounts going cause i have lots of items to list.

In the last box there are 2 digits so u have 01,02,03.....to 99, and than u can even use letters 1A, 2b, 3A Etc.... So u have endless combinations

You could consider dongle or tethering as well

for some reason it will not allow me to entire letters other then d and e and f.. nothing else

also when I do change mac's I cant get websites to work.

The website(s)no longer recognises your computer are the usual reasons.

Sounds like your not obtaining an IP address automatically. Try this...

1. Go into router's web page and release the IP address
2. Once released go into the MAC address screen and change it.
3. Once done, hit 'apply or save'.
4. You can either reboot router from webpage or by unplugging power.


You should now have a new IP and be able to browse webpages. If this is still an issue, please post your modem and router models.

Thats how I have been doing it from day one.

I would check your manual specifically for your trouble. Each setup is different, which is why your router's manual would help you best.
