Need some help to change IP with Mac & OS
 

Hi guys-

I just got bumped from the bay, and I need some help with changing the ip..

I'm not really that great with the computer, so I will need some help.. In fact, I use a Mac with OS X..

I live in an apartment complex that is also connected to a Embassy hotel that has free wi fi in their Atrium, so I believe I could use that down the road..

Going through some of the steps such as just downloading the updated FireFox to use when I get back on..

However, I have no idea how to chance my IP address..

I unplugged the Ethernet cord and power cord for a few minutes, and when I went to the What is my IP address site, it was the same...

I need some help in this step..

I am in the same situation and am using a Mac as well.

Please let me know if you come up with a solution!
