Anybody had luck getting higher data allowance on Mifi?
 

Currently on 3 pay as you go which offers 3GB over 3 months, this is getting used up fast. Heard some users on here simply rang 3 and asked for a higher limit and this was granted.

Do share you experiences.

I'm not in the UK, but 1GB/month cannot be the maximum they offer. That's insane, especially when I know for a fact that UK has 10x cheaper monthly voice plans and data than the USA that offer much more than what we get for the insane prices we pay over here.

It's 3GB allowance i meant, It just expires after 3 months. Didn't know data was this expensive.

How many accounts are you operating? If you are operating many and uploading a lot of pictures, then yes, it goes quick. But, if you are just using 1 or 2 accounts selling the same products over and over, then 1GB/month is fine.

But, I am still confused on how you say you can only get so little data? Look at this page on 3:

Huawei E5220 Mobile WiFi on Three.

Am I missing something? I see 5GB/month for £16...that's insanely cheap compared to USA.

Hi sorry just a question regarding the Huawei E5220 mifi that you have referenced, does this also give you a different ip address every time you log in? Thinking of buying this one myself and wanted to check first as all the other 3 dongles seem to. Thanks
