Default Are we all sharing the same ip pool?

I have question that has been in my mind for a while. I use tmobile hotspot for my internet. I have been logging everything. Tonight I accidentally logged into an account without logging in the ip and sure enough the ip was one I had used before on another account. But my question is do we all share the same ip addresses with other tmobile users? Like someone else with an ebay account in my same city and using a hotspot also can be using the same ip addresses as me right? Thanks

Well yes, but ebay has a unique way of looking at random IP linking over short periods of time at least on long term reliable accounts. I am sure most members will say that it is instantly linked and you will be limited but if you call ebay and ask about this, you will get a unique answer. I used to stay at a Hotel in Greenville SC with 500 other ebay/internet sellers in my nitch market. In theory ebay would have linked all of us. When I called about the chance of linked accounts at a convention like this they basically said random IP does not necessarily link accounts even if all sellers sell similar items and also if they had a question about it it would easily be explained, etc..

With this being said, PAYPAL reviews payments if multiple payments are made with a SIMILAR IP address in a short period of time. It is one of the 2000+ reasons to have a payment review and happens to me everyday of the week on a large account.

I beleive T-Mobile USA uses the 208.54.x.x range of addresses, but I'm not 100% sure. They do have more than that, but not sure who they are.

Generally ISPs own blocks of IP addresses which are handed out on a first-come first-serve, sequential basis based on area. Street doesn't matter exactly, but generally around a 25-mile radius or telephone exchange has a shared block of IP addresses. When a user disconnects (either through power being cut to the modem or the otherwise inability to connect to it) then it's released and put back into the pool for allocation for another user to has assigned to them.

It changes from ISP to ISP and I don't know how others work, but in principle yes, each carrier/ISP has a pool for each geographical area they operate in.
