Iphone/ipad does not have own IP address?

I thought every time you turn your ipad or iphone off and on it got a new ip address??

I was planning on running like 10 different accounts and each ebay and paypal account being used on a different ipad or iphone..

.right now I have 2 two new accounts since my others got suspended.....

I went to ip burger and they both had the same IP address?????? Am linked now ???:s

Re: I thought each iphone and Ipad had its own IP address???

You need to buy the stealth guide, you obviously have no idea what your talking about. Each device does not have its own ip address, 1 device can have thousands.

I read it....i thought the mobile devices and ipads worked a little different then the laptops, I guess I read it wrong...

How about you explain EXACTLY how your connecting to the internet on each device. If your using your home Wifi then you linked every account you have used on those devices. As far as Iphone if your using it on it's native 3G, 4G, LTE usually you will get a unique IP but again we have no idea how your connecting to the internet.

siiiigggh, connected to the home wifi...super bummed now lol. another mistake learned

Re: I thought each iphone and Ipad had its own IP address???

yup, you linked all your accounts. Also if your running multiple accounts off the Ebay app that's another link.

Re: I thought each iphone and Ipad had its own IP address???

so there is really no way of using multiple apple products for separate accounts if im using the home wifi?????

Re: I thought each iphone and Ipad had its own IP address???

What you have to understand is if your going to use apple products with your home Wifi you can't use all your devices at the same time, you would have to use 1 at a time and also you would have to reset your IP so you get a new IP every time. Also, I hope your not using the Ebay apps.

Re: I thought each iphone and Ipad had its own IP address???

I guess I need to come up with a new way of doing things because I would be using them at the same time and with the APPS....is it more ideal and easier to Just do everything from a laptop???

Re: I thought each iphone and Ipad had its own IP address???

You do realize that we have repeatedly have expressed that using the ebay apps is a bad thing, literally a ton of times.

If you can use a Laptop or PC would be best and also look into using separate user accounts for each stealth. Also be sure to log IP changes between accounts.

That's why.............. your home wifi linked everything.

Here's the rub.

If you did not link to your wifi, then the IP is usally different. It certainly is on my iphone & ipad.

I moved your thread to the EBAY TRACKING subforum.

PLEASE read thro' this in great depth. We have had many discussions on APPLE products.

Keep in mind the forum backs up the info of the ebook.

Take your time. Do not make new accounts until you grasp the correct steps.

Good Luck

Re: Iphone/ipad does not have own IP address?

The only way to do it is if all phones are brand new and never been usued for eBay before and you would have to be using 3G,4G on them all and then you can change IP address easy by switching flight mode on then back off again, but seems a lot of effort this way and would be a lot easier and cost a lot less by just having your accounts on a laptop.

Turn your home wifi modem off...wait...back on and see if IP changes with ipburger.com

FFS, read what MM78 posted.

The OP can not use multiple gadgets on his home wifi regardless of IP change.

:p

Re: Iphone/ipad does not have own IP address?

Thought the OP understood that - cant use all at the same time...but can connect each device one by one on a different IP (provided that he CAN get a different IP).

And also provided that 1) no APPs are used 2) all devices are properly cleaned up for fresh start

GreenBean 01-26-2014 07:34 AM

Re: Iphone/ipad does not have own IP address?

Then your recommendation is entirely redundant.

He indicated he had NO understanding of a viable method.
