Tethering question.
 
So i'm thinking about using my iPhone 3G on my Macbook as my broadband provider has static IP address (Sky).

I have created a seperate user account to sign up to eBay. My question is- if I tether my phone to use eBay on the account, sign out and then use WIFI to browse the rest of the internet- will eBay link my account and suspend it?

You should be fine as long as you log off the stealth, switch to regular account and don't try to log into stealth account from regular account.

i have att uverse so it seems i wont be able to change ip address. How do you tether using your iphone. I have no idea what that means?
Anyone?

You actually have several options that work with Stealth:
1. Tethering: This is when you use your Mobile SmarthPhone (Iphone for example) to transfer your phones internet on your computer. For Iphone it requires "Jailbreaking" your phone and installing special software that allows for tethering.

2. Mifi or Dongle: These are devices that ONLY provide Internet for your Laptop or PC or MAC computers.
A. Dongles are usually USB connected, Here's an example:

B. MIFI: This device can be either USB connected or Wifi connected, Here's an example:
