Best way to hide my ip?
 

Looked around the forum and thought it would be best to try and get some answers in my own thread.

I have a superhub from VirginMedia

I am about to purchase a stealth account and want to know what is the best way I can hide my identity online without the use of a dongle etc which would kill my speed.

you do not have to "hide" your identity but you have to create a new one and different identities for every stealth account (Ebay+Paypal) you are going to manage.
So, do you have (from your ISP) dynamic or static IPs? this is the main question before purchasing anything.
I suggest to purchase the stealth guide instead of a stealth account ready made.
Sthealth account can be created by you or, at least, learn how it works... then you decide.

I wouldn't know what sort of IP I have.

Will the stealth guide explain how to manage a stealth account or how to create one?

I have no interest in knowing how to create one.

It's more how to manage one so I can use it for as long as possible without it getting banned..

One in the same. WITHOUT KNOWING you will get banned constantly. Knowledge is key.

Stealth guide and the forum define how to be stealth on ebay ( regardless of the country).

As the seller you need to know many things to operate the account to make sure it stays working.

Try this.

Turn on your modem

Run this program
IP Burger - Track Your IP Address!

Take note of the IP given.

Turn off the modem ( & wait a minute)

Turn modem back on and run IP Burger - Track Your IP Address! again.

Note the IP this time.

If the numbers are different, your IP is dynamic.
If they are the same, your IP is static.

Try and report back.

Ok, I have now learnt i have a static IP. I got a copy of the Stealth Guide i'm going to read it after work this evening and see what i can do from that but with a static ip what is the BEST PROVEN way to change the identity and remain safe?

Look at dongles - cellphone tethering - dial-up.

All those methods work for stealth.

Your last post looks a bit shady zaac...Best proven way hmm

Who is your ISP? Static IP addresses are often only given out if requested.

Im with VM and have a superhub... Looking at IPBURGER if I change my SuperHub to Modem Mode instead of wireless it changed the IP address on IPBurger... Does this mean to eBay and PayPal it would look as if it's someone different because the IP address is different?
