cheap dongle service in usa?
 

i see lots of you guys using three but im in the usa. what dongle and service are usa stealth ebayers using?

also is there a vcc that i can buy online?

For VCC: If you're located in the USA, you should be able to pick up a VanillaVISA at CVS or Walgreens or browse your cornerstores for them. Just make sure you get one with furthest EXP date, and you should be good.

For Dongle: I use just DSL which has dynamic IP I can change easily. Dongles are more expensive.

With your dongle, you maybe should check your area for reception.

Is there a reason you are thinking of a dongle?

Maybe we could suggest other options if you let us know.

just seemed the easiest way to get a new ip quick, by unplugging and plugging in the dongle. but its also a monthly service so that cuts into profits.


i still am not 100% certian if my ip is static or not. i have at&t uverse for internet provider

does ATT provide static or dynamic WAN IP address - AT&T Community Support

I use ATT MIFI. $50/mo for 5G of data. Make sure you record your IPs and USER IDs though. Very very important step so you don't use a repeated IP.

found out that uverse ips are static. if you want it changed a technician needs to come to the house.


what is the next cheapest way to change the ip?

will TOR work?

do you use a smartphone? most allow you to tether and share your phone's internet access with your computer. i've been doing stealth for a half year now and just use my iphone on att to tether. very easy! but kind of limited range of ips, so i wouldn't recommend it for someone with a lot of stealth accounts. for me with 5 accounts it works just fine. it seems att ip range has changed once in the 6 months, maybe because they added a new tower in my area. i previously had a virgin u600 dongle but reception in my area was so bad it didnt even work properly. definitely make sure that you will be able to use it in your area, if you decide to go with a dongle

@ GRISLYBEAR..Since you use iphone to tether do you keep track of your IPs?

Does anyone also know which ISP/ MIFI hoptspot service provide dynamic IPs? Very much in needed for changeable IPs solution for the stealth accounts. Bought 2 new laptops about to create stealth acc. but still need help with Ips solution. Your advice would be highly appreciated. Many thanks in advanced

Verizon seems to have the largest IP pool but it is pricey

yes you always need to keep track of ips in a spreadsheet. you don't need separate new laptops to make new stealth accounts, simply make a new windows user on your computer. each windows user keeps cookies separate, which is good enough for ebay! as long as you keep track of ips and keep different users on your computer for each ebay/paypal you are golden...

Would this work? I've been wanting one for a while and if it works for this it might be the push needed.

Since I'd only use it for ebay, I can't imagine the monthly fee for the 1gb plan costing me much, if any (since the month is free if you don't go over 1gb)

Company with largest pool of IPs wins when doing any Stealth. Shop for a dongle that will accommodate this.

Thank you all for your reply and support....wish ebay/amazon never suspend anyone...its such a pain in the neck to see your loosing money each and everyday..Good luck to all of us here.....:)

I'm still looking into it, i might be overly cautious but i think this might not be ideal for most users as it doesn't have dynamic IPs. It lets you reset but I don't think it lets you go back to old ones, so storing several stealth/ip combos might not be possible. So it might only be good for 1 stealth.

I'm not a big seller, i only really sell Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and luckily there's a very successful alternative for those (TCGplayer) but there's still some more money to be made on ebay with auctions/bundles and sometimes people just plain pay more for cards on there.

(Often cards that are like a quarter on TCGplayer will be $1-$2 for a playset of three on ebay)

I live with four other active ebay users under the same IP, none of them sell but they buy often and I simply cannot risk them getting banned for life.

My original account is also creeping up on 12-months and my the DSRs that got me killed fall off and i might be able to negotiate my account back.

So I'm wondering if anyone thinks i can efficiently dodge the threat to my friend's accounts if i went stealth using this? The reward isn't very large, so unless the risk if very small i won't do it.

Do not use TOR.

@DunnoBro, get off that shared IP right away! Make new stealth accounts with your own IP so you avoid links with friends' accounts.

well i ended up deciding to take a old straight talk android phone and paying $45 for 1 month of unlimited data and am going to try to usb teather with pdanet tonight. will post results tomarrow
