Change mac address if IP dynamic
 

When I go into my router settings page and change the MAC address and save, I see that the IP changes instantly thru IP Burger. Is it still necessary to reset the router? I ask because I use the internet thru my parents house which is a few hundred feet from my house, and it would be inconvenient to have to reset it every time.

So long as the public IP address changes then your fine.

I am very confused now I thought wan mac address was physical and assigned to the router. I can log into my routers admin page but once there I have no clue were to go. All I see is a release bottom which does nothing. how do I change my wan mac address?

I have failed at changing my ip address I have tried releasing ip address, unpluging my modem and router I did this twice, once for 10 min another overnight, I even called my isp 2 times all they had to say was it changes every 24 hours (not true).

Never mind I just got it now. For anybody that wants to know it was called the mac address clone.
